Concoct great tasting hot and cold beverages and ice with 3M’s Cuno SF165 ScaleGard™ HT Water Filtration System. The SF165 provides the benefits of chlorine taste and odor reduction with sediment reduction. In turn, this system helps protect your equipment from the potentially harmful effects of scale formation.
At flow rates of 3.34 GPM (12.6 lpm) for 35,000 gallons (132,000 liters), this water filtration system assures the consistent provision of Recipe Quality Water™ through the reduction of sediment and chlorine taste and odor.
Hard scale formation of calcium and magnesium in both high and low-temperature applications will be reduced through the controlled and metered addition of scale inhibition. This careful addition of scale inhibitors is done through a passive-feed orifice, thus minimizing scale build-up on the evaporator plates and heating elements.
SF165 provides consistent performance at application temperatures over 200°F (93°C). Its revolutionary dual-zone filtration media combines a membrane in series with premium activated carbon. The encapsulated cartridge’s Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design allows for fast and easy change-outs with a 1/4 turn. This design also minimizes the possibility of leakage and media contamination.
The materials used for 3M Cuno SF165 ScaleGard™ HT Water Filtration System are all FDA CFR-21 and/or NSF compliant. Connecting the unit to existing plumbing lines is made more direct and easily-adaptable with the 3/4” FNPT inlet and outlet ports. The SF165 system includes a pressure gauge, inlet shut-off valve, and an outlet check valve for simple installation and operation.
