Create perfect ice cubes for all of your commercial needs with 3M’s ICE120-S single cartridge water filtration system. At flow rates of up to 1.5 gpm (5.7 lpm), this ice machine water filter system reduces the effects of sediment and chlorine taste and odor, helping provide consistently high-quality water for your commercial ice. Its built-in scale inhibition helps reduce calcium and magnesium precipitation which may form hard scales on the evaporator plates.
The ICE120-S reduces the effects of chlorine corrosion and scale for up to 9,000 gallons (34,069 liters). It also incorporates sediment, cyst and chlorine taste and odor reduction which results in clearer, great tasting ice, and better equipment protection.
3M’s ICE120-S is verified and tested by the manufacturer’s laboratory to Standard 53 for cyst reduction (HF20-S replacement cartridge). Its materials are compliant of the NSF Standard 42 and/or FDA CFR-21.
For simple and trouble-free cartridge change-outs, the valve-in-head design simultaneously shuts off and vents water which eliminates the need to shut off the upstream feed water. The unit’s Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) encapsulated cartridge is also designed to make cartridge change-outs fast and easy with a 1/4 turn. 3/8” FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports allow direct or easily adaptable connections to existing plumbing lines.
